TGT
The TGT Entrance exam is conducted by different Agencies in India like every state that conducts the TGT test when they require a teacher at junior level , Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of India. Exams are expected to be announced soon on the official websites. The interested candidates can apply through the online link. CTET & state TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) qualified candidates are eligible to appear for the TGT exam. The teachers who have completed their B.Ed. or have undergone a teachers training fall under this category. As we all know KVS recruits Teachers for All India Level. Selection in the KVS is based on scored marks in Written exam & Interview. Qualifying CTET is required for TGT in KVS, JNV DSSSB also.
Eligibility Criteria for TGT
An individual must be a Graduate or Post Graduate or Diploma in Education from a University approved by UGC with min 50% marks or above Candidate must have done B.Ed from recognized university.
Age limit: Candidate can apply till he attains the age of 35 years.

About PGT exam
PGT (Post Graduate teacher) exam is conducted by DSSSB, KVS, NVS & state conduct the TGT test when they require a teacher in Senior Secondary level. It is the Gateway to become PGTs in govt. schools. Exam are expected to be announced soon on the official websites. The interested candidates can apply for the same. Preference will be given to the CTET qualified candidate. DSSSB is of 200 marks and time duration is 2hrs with 0.25 negative marking, KVS is of 200 marks and time duration is 2hrs with 0.25 negative marking. This exam is conducted to recruit the teachers who are qualified and ensures the compliance to maintain the quality standards in the schools as these teachers are the real builders and gives the nation the young minds who are ready to contribute in nation. Masters Degree from UGC approved University with min 50% marks or above in the concerned or related subjects
BEd. or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
